Description

The EPBD recast (EU/2024/1275) sets a framework and a path for modernising and fully decarbonising the EU’s building stock by 2050. As a result, many provisions are included in the document, which constitute the framework that will shape national building performance regulation.

The provisions on smart-ready buildings include the Smart Readiness Indicator (SRI) and capabilities of building automation and control systems (BACS) and electric mobility infrastructure. These assessments are all based on the smart functions, which define the smart capabilities of buildings and its technical building systems.

In this course you will learn everything there is to know about the smart functions as defined in the European standards and technical frameworks.

It is the prerogative of Member States to lay down the requirements on the qualification or accreditation of SRI experts and inspectors of technical building systems.

Addressed to

Building service engineers who wish to learn the fundamentals of smart readiness functions of buildings.
